Sarkin Fadar Kano dies at 107

Alhaji Sule Gaya, Sarkin Fadar Kano has died.
He died on Thursday evening in Kano after a protracted illness, according to a family member, Hajiya Amina Abdullahi.
According to Amina, Alhaji Gaya would be buried at 10 a.m Friday at the Palace.
Aged 107, the deceased left behind many children, grand children and great grand children amongst whom is Dr Binta Sulaiman of Mass Communications Department of Bayero University Kano.
Alhaji Gaya was a member of the Northern Region’s legislature and once served as the parliamentary secretary in the regional ministry of Lands and Survey during the First Republic.
