Senate Leadership: Osun PDP congratulates Senator Lere Oyewumi

OSUN State Chapter of the PDP has described election of Senator Representing Osun West Senatorial District, Akogun Kamarudeen Oyewumi as deputy Senate minority leader as another feather on the growing profile of the Ikire born politician. 

Osun PDP Chairman, Hon Sunday Bisi in a statement on Tuesday expressed satisfaction on the latest feat of Senator Lere Oyewumi, describing him as a worthy ambassador of the PDP, both in Osun State and the nation at large.

The 10th National Assembly, according to Hon Bisi, stands to benefit immensely from the roundly versatile Lawmaker, expressing confidence in his ability and preparedness to uphold the nation building ideal of the PDP as well as developmental agenda of Imole team back here in Osun State.

“The PDP in Osun State is immensely proud of this great feat. However, the party is not surprised again as the  man Akogun Lere Oyewumi has always been a gold fish with no place to hide in the comity of highly intelligent patriots in our party”

“Your election is another affirmation of your credentials as an astute and thorough bred politician, who was overwhelmingly elected by the great people of Osun West Senatorial District in trust and conviction of your capacity on the task of Lawmaking in a cosmopolitan entity like our dear nation”

“While we rejoice with you, we also assure you of our continued prayers and support to discharge your duty primarily as a Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic and also as worthy leader of men, who will deploy all within his reach to better the lot of his constituents”, Sunday Bisi concluded.
