SUBEB pledges to parner association for quality education in Katsina

ALHAJI Lawal Buhari, Chairman of Katsina State Universal Basic Education (SUBEB), has pledged that the agency will patner with Parents Teachers Association (PTA) in the state to ensure qualitative basic education.

Buhari stated this when he received the executive members of Anty Nike Nusery and Primary School in his office in Katsina.

Represented by a Permanent Member of the Board, Alhaji Ashiru Batsari, the chairman said there was the need for parents and teachers to monitor the academic performances of their pupils and students to ensure qualitative education.

He urged proprietors of private schools to teach children in accordance with school syllabuses and schemes of work.

Buhari commended proprietors of private schools for their efforts in complementing government’s programmes.

Earlier, the chairman of the association, Alhaji Samaila Mamman, who led the executives on the coutesy call, said the visit was to familiarise with the board and solicit for advice for the progress of basic education in the state.(NAN)
