Tilije Urges Miss Tourism Delta to Seek Innovative ways for Delta to Generate Revenue from Tourism

THE Delta State Dean, College of Commissioners and Commissioner for finance, Sir Fidelis Okenmor Tilije have urged MISS TOURISM DELTA to seek more innovative ways to attract tourist to the rich culture and tourism heritage of Delta.
Tilije made call when MISS TOURISM DELTA Beauty Pageant team led by Amb. Unumadu Huxley, the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Culture and tourism.
The dean emphasised that the state have not engaged enough the talents and opportunities in the tourism industry.
He tasked the Team to work hard to put Delta in the frontline of Culture and tourism in Nigeria and Africa with a view towards revenue generation.
Earlier while presenting his Speech, Amb Huxley Unumadu said that MISS TOURISM DELTA have outlined programmes for MISS DELTA BEAUTY PEGEANT contest which is targeted at advocating for social moral change of Youths and creating an awareness that Delta State have full tourism potentials that must be harnessed.
He concluded by appreciating the commissioner for his mentorship and support to the group and his office.
