The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the fire extinguishers were distributed by Gov. Bello Matawalle, represented by his Deputy, Hassan Nasiha, on Monday.

Matawalle said that his administration had given due consideration to business communities in the state, thus creating an enabling environment and business support across different strata.

He said that the provision of the fire extinguishers to the business communities was aimed at ensuring adequate protection of markets and business from fire outbreaks, especially during the approaching harmattan season.
